Finding the perfect wall art to decorate your home can be a difficult task. Your home is your sanctuary. It’s so important to surround yourself with things that put you in a good mood. Selecting your prints

This is probably the most difficult part of the process as there are just so many posters to choose from! I spent a long time scrolling through pages and pages to find the prints that were right for me. It was hard to cut down my choices as I adored so many of them.

To help narrow down your search, you can browse through the different themes. There is definitely something for everyone. I ended up selecting many of my posters from the Maps & Cities category. As this past year hasn’t been the best for holidays, I decided to stick with a travel theme when choosing the designs to decorate my home.

Selecting your frames

There’s a variety of different picture frames that can accompany the artwork you pick. As I already have black wood furniture in my living room, it seemed like a smart option for me to select this colour.

If black isn’t for you, there are several other frames to choose from including; white, copper, gold and oak. You are definitely not short on options! It’s really worth a browse to see what would work with the furniture you already have, as well as the kind of frames that would go best with your chosen prints.

Designing my wall

When creating my travel wall, my heart became attached to a poster of the Amalfi Coast. So I pulled the colours from this print to help select my other prints. To break up the images, I found this wonderful ‘Wanderlust’ typography poster that summarised the vibe of my theme perfectly.

For these, I selected the A4 size for all of them as I wanted to spread them across one of my larger walls. I also then chose a gorgeous black and white 30×40 image of New York to add a little decoration to another part of my flat. I am so pleased with this I’m considering getting another black and white city poster to go alongside it.
